Exemption!

Looks like Florida, along with nine (maybe ten) other states, is going to be exempted from No Child Gets Ahead Left Behind.

I do love President Obama's statement about it though: "What might work in Minnesota might not work in Kentucky."

Really?  Can we get this new attitude applied to other federal encroaches into federalism?  Like say, for example, health care?  Environmentalism?  Energy?

Yeah, didn't think so.  This is taking apart something Bush did.

However, the stopped clock is right twice a day.  The blinking VCR once.

There's no provision in the law for the president to make exemptions or issue waivers.
