My Writing Style

I need to work on it.

I'm a college graduate for Heaven's sake!

I know how to do this, but I don't really frame what I am going to say before I start.

What I end up posting is more of a stream of consciousness.

I should really work on making my posts more along the lines of introduction/body/conclusion.

  1. Don't be so hard on yourself. My buddy is a professional musician/songwriter and my saying to him is always "Boy you nailed that song...but you suck on the dismount". Almost of of his studio tracks end on a fade out from the refrain.

The ending is always the hardest. I spend the most time per post on the last line, and frankly I'm only truly happy with maybe 20% of them.

  2. Meh. It's a blog not a term paper. The raw thought process out of your head is what makes these great

  3. OK I want to sound less like someone who runs down, looks around and asks, "what was I talking about?"

Do not go off on a tangent, stay with the topic of the post. If I can't tell what your point is in the first couple of sentences I'm flushing it.
