Inevitable
Ladies:
Men are problem solvers. Men also want to please.
If you demonstrate that the way to please you is for him to give up everything he loves, make no mistake; he will eventually get around to giving you up too.
Yeah but we can call the cops and a lawyer to make sure he leaves with nothing. We have an army of other men on hand, willing to commit violence by proxy on our behalf, and an army of 'advocates' to remind us that we're victims, in the event that we start to feel guilty about it.
And some people actually wonder why I'm not more wistful about never having been married or even shacked up with someone. Of course, having had a deal that had all the bad points of a marriage as well as some others, and none of the good points, for seven years or so might have left a sourish taste in my mouth.
