Headed Off At The Pass



Mr Whittle made this video so I don't have to make a substantially similar, and less well researched version.

I quibble about the inventor of the jet engine though.  Nobody uses centrifugal flow engines anymore.  Axial flow is predominant and was invented by Maxime Guillaume, though he never built one.  The inventor cited by Mr Whittle definitely owns the "first flown" trophy.
