That Tears It

When I was a boy and just starting to become interested in aviation and space you'd never have convinced me that I would outlive the last person to walk on the moon.

Today I did just that.

Godspeed Gene.

  1. We could be in a time soon where there is no one left alive that has gone further from the Earth than a high orbit. And that is sad.

  2. When I first was old enough to understand that men had walked on the moon, I assumed people were just THERE. I mean there are some people on Antarctica year-round, there are now people on the space station year round, and there are people under the sea all the time....why wouldn't we just ALWAYS be going to the moon to get shit done.
