Dissonance

My book on how to disassemble my 99 disagrees with the actual gun.

Not too hard to figure out though.

Cocked and ready.
Fired.
Reload!
It's a typical tilting bolt type gun, predating the more familiar semi-autos with tilters by some many years.

The whole point of taking the thing apart was to get to this part:
Magazine follower.
The reason I wanted at this part was to repaint the round counters.
Now you can read them!

    1. What it gains in style it loses in ammo availability. .300 Savage can be hard to find sometimes.
