There's nothing as annoying yet inconsequential in games as being unable to remap key bindings/etc that aren't set up correctly for you.
Worst instance I ever had of that was a game that used left stick to aim, right to move, and there was no way to correct it. Had a lot of games refuse to play nice with my joystick, too.
Rearranged my set up. Got the rudder pedals and throttle plugged into a small USB hub that is easily unplugged. That lets the game find the actual joystick.
Now the only problem is how bad I suck at this game! Which is and was epically. Practice should show improvements.
