Most Youtube product reviews are for people who for one reason or another cannot or will not go to the manufacturer's web page and READ about the product.
Plus 90% of them would be better served just running an audio recording over a fixed image. A still life they reach into to pat the product lovingly from time to time while they drone on and on and on and on and on and on... doesn't justify making a video. What they're making is a podcast that takes up a lot of space on their hard drive.
I still want to start up a series of gun/gear video reviews when I have regular access to a decent range that I can use to do so. High Speed Reviews, 30 seconds to 2 minutes, demonstrating all possible relevant features in that time with the combined powers of Shouting and Not Wasting Time. A TL;DR of a review video, since nobody seems to make any these days that aren't far, FAR longer than they need to be (review things like on Forgotten Weapons of odd, unique historical guns get a pass, because going into depth on their oddity is the cool part)
