Just dead sexy this is.




Sistema Colt Modelo 1927.  As close to a milspec M1911A1 as you can get without a United States Property roll-mark or a prancing pony logo.

This gun just sold on Gunbroker for $921.  I remember putting two friends together so that $250 could be exchanged for one of these about 25 years ago.  I can also remember them going for even less than $150 as well.

    Is that one made under license in Paraguay? FMAP could be Portugal or Paraguay - Fabrica Militar de Armas Pxxxxx (insert country name).
    DGFM stands for Directoria General Fabricas Militares (my best guess). That image is gorgeous - looks new out of box.

      Argentina. The initials stand for, "Direccion General de Fabricaciones Militares (Fabric Militar de Armas Portatiles)"
