The worst sentence in the English language is, "I know everything is off, so why do I hear water running". First one was $1200, about five or six years ago. Second one was "a few" K-bucks (don't recall - HO insurance took care of some of it), about two years after that. That one leaked into drywall, and required replacing a lot on the inside of the house.
Demolition of the slab? Just bypass the damned thing. Drill a hole in the wall to thread new pipe to connect the inside with the outside. Then decorate the visible outside pipe.
On the other side of the wall is a concrete patio. Some concrete will get smashed no matter what we do.
Luckily, Harvey has a creative destruction bent and wants that patio removed within 3' of the outside wall to plant stuff in. So next time we need under there, we can just dig up some plants.
I am sure glad that here in the U.P. my meter is in the basement and the city owns the line up to the meter. I worry about my sewer line as it runs under my neighbors tree filled lot and the piping is mine util it hits the cities junction box. A house down the street had to replace their sewer line and after a little over $5,000 it was done. Four guys for a day and a half, backhoe, truck and parts don't come cheap.

Damn! Truly hate to hear that, and still haven't found the water leak yet?
