I don't know why it is, but after all these years, and to this day, it is simply funny to hear Pinky's voice and see it coming out of Rob Paulsen and Brain's voice coming out of Maurice LeMarche. It's not like I haven't seen these guys before, and I'm under no delusions that Pinky and the Brain are real lab mice and not voiced by actors. It's just inherently funny.
Pinky and the Brain got us through some really bad times in life when my wife was getting her bone marrow transplant. They will always have a place in my heart.
