...From A Certain Point Of View

Despite a war being fought over the matter of secession...

It appears that several states have seceded from The Union, the evidence being in their utter disregard of the foundational document's restrictions on their behavior.

Not only did they successfully secede, they are now invading and colonizing what's left of The United States.

That is, if you cock your head and look at it in a certain way in a particular light.
