What if the reason for stripping all mention of The Civil War from the public square is to grease the ways for states to begin nullifications of their own.
We've seen it already for enforcement of immigration law.
We're starting to hear noises about it about playing nice with environmental laws.
Without knowledge of the previous attempt at secession, perhaps people will buy into it better this time around?
