You may notice that there was a shooting in a high school in Maryland.
The location is significant because Maryland has all of the gun control mentioned in these proposed amendments.
You might notice that gun control failed to prevent the shooter from starting his attack.
You might notice that it was an active response from a Student Resource Officer firing back that ended the attack.
It was not banning a common type of gun.
It was not forbidding the ownership of certain sized magazines.
It was not the gun-free zone of the school.
It was not universal background checks.
It was not gun registration.
It was a good guy with a gun returning fire.
Shall we focus on what works and abandon what doesn't?
