Marv has joined the ranks of having a lever gun and single action revolver in the same chambering.
He and Harvey have selected 20" Winchester '92 clones and 4-3/4" Single Action Army's in .357 Magnum.
I'm rocking a 20" Winchester '73 and a 4-3/4" SAA in .45 Colt.
Willard is rolling with a 16" Winchester '92 and a Ruger Vaquero in .44 Magnum.
JT, you're next!
At the time of posting, only Harvey and I have gone the extra mile and gotten gun belts and hats.
The tactical utility of sheer muzzle blast is often underrated.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a single action and a lever action in the same caliber. I'm not sure if a Pietta Remington 1858 clone with a .45 Colt conversion cylinder in it and a lever in .45 Colt would count if I bought another lever. The lever I have now is in .30-30 Win, which obviously is not a viable single action revolver loading. There is a .22LR single action revolver in the family (one of those inexpensive Heritage Rough Riders). I could probably pick up a .22LR lever action like one of those little Henrys or something inexpensively enough, but I'm sure .22LR is probably not macho enough. :-D Not enough hat or something.
