Looks interesting. I've got a number of 9's here as well. Probably a different set. Glock 17 gen 2 -- I don't know what gen Glocks you have these days, mine are still the ones I've had for over 25 years (damn has it really been that long?), S&W 5906, Walther P38, Star Modelo Super B 9mm and of course the old Cobray M11/9. Realistically of course the only two of those that would likely to be used for the kind of self defense this ammo is intended for would be the Glock and S&W. The Walther and Star are C&Rs and the Cobray is just a range toy that gets fed the cheapest bulk reloads I can produce. I've also got a chronograph which is fun, but I don't get to use it much because I don't have a good place to set it up. It really needs to be used outdoors and somewhere you have complete control of the shooting area, which rules out most public ranges. Ballistic gel would sure be fun. I've seen recipes online for making it with unflavored Knox gelatin using things like a big plastic tub as a mold. That's a lot of gelatin though. You need a big pot to boil that much water, etc. Weather is right for gelatin testing around here lately, we've had a cold front come in. Oh, I almost forgot... Would be interesting to test some of that ammo a 9mm AR like the one I've got. I'm really interested to see your review. I've been using mostly Speer Gold Dot lately for defense ammo, but I'm always open minded to other options.

ReplyDeleteBoth my Glocks are Gen 2. The 21 you were present for the buying of from Jacobson's and an ex-police 17.
DeleteI'm still of the opinion that Glock ruined the grip with finger bumps in the Gen 3 and 4.
I also prefer the feel of the Gen 2 over any other gens.
