It was InRange's reviews of the CavArms/GWACS Mk 1 and Mk 2 lowers that made me want one.
I like lightweight ARs and pencil barrels.
What I do worry about is this lower has killed every company to bring one to market.
I wonder if Brownell's and KE Arms are going to offer it in the same rainbow of colors.
Agreed, I kinda want. The lower itself with a Faxon gunner barrel and assembling with cost effective parts would work for me. The carbon fiber free float tube and other gucci bits I dread actually paying for.
ReplyDeleteI never really had a lot of interest in the CavArms or GWACS, but this is kind of interesting. It's cool that there is another take on the idea. I don't know about KE Arms, but I would be surprised if this could bomb enough to take down Brownell's. They seem to be able to survive despite doing business in such a crappy location.
ReplyDeleteI had passing interest in the previous iterations, but could never find one. I'm a big fan of the PDQ bolt release. Throw them together and sell it at a decent price and it'll be difficult for me to hold onto my money.
ReplyDeleteI went so far as to save up for one from GWACS in zombie green only to find them out of stock.
DeleteNow I want one to compare with the resin lowers Marv and I made.
Not sure that Russell sees colors ....
