It has been said that diet is "die with tea".
Thanks to my mass reduction program I now know that my bagel and cream-cheese is 270 calories.
This is less than my fried egg sandwich's 446.
I am kind of upset that I know this.
I am also kind of shocked to see how fast one hits that "we'd like to see you around 1,500 to 1,700 calories a day."
"I am also kind of shocked to see how fast one hits that "we'd like to see you around 1,500 to 1,700 calories a day." - Me too. The only way I can maintain energy and s-l-o-w-l-y lose weight is adding exercise at least half an hour a day. No exercise for me is a death sentence - diet alone will not work. My diet kryptonite - bread. Gotta have at least a slice of bread every couple of days. Carbs is my weak spot - if I slip a meal, the next two meals are light and heavy salads (no dressing).

Well then you gotta consider the origin of the calorie "evaluation" of everything. I think it's quite variable for most foods.
ReplyDeleteI have no worries myself, but I thought that most of this calorie evaluation was always sketchy, and how any individual processes those calories is also a question.
Just sayin'
