My legs have really bad days.
Really bad.
Over the counter just doesn't dent it.
Well, over the counter drugs.
Booze, on the other hand, works like a jiffy!
Booze also helps with the nightmares.
Hurray booze!
Oh, and my phone died.
Hopefully it's just a depleted battery.
I know what you mean. I have the same problem with OTC "sleep aids." Insofar as they have any active ingredients at all, they depend on antihistamines...and I was acclimated to those years ago, thanks to pollen allergies. I'd like to get my hands on some thalidomide(look, the stuff's only bad for pregnant women, which group I am not one of) but Those Who Know So Much Better Than I won't let me.
ReplyDeleteEspecially since, if you did punch out a thalidomide baby we'd be rich!
Delete"Iowa Man gives birth in immaculate conception to thalidomide baby!"
Yup, I've had deplooted beeteries before, that'll fone yer finx. phoan.phlick.
DeleteBeer can give easy sleep, but up every 'our-na-half'? Na... forget the cocktails, bro, you don't need the mixxinshyte...or sugar...but I'm bein' honest here--if "ethan" is at ALL involved in me sleep toddy, I'll be lookin' first at the clock, then the TV (with headphones) at 3:00am.
Easy, blokes...got a mate that's Thalidomide, in his 60's and done right well for himself, socially, fiscally, most especially morally...He looks to have "pincers," where fingers didn't develop, and watching folks meet him is a trip you can't describe. Wifey is a charm, couldn't be more custom-tailored...
DeleteThis man has Peace in his heart. I'll stop there, mates...
Not sure what State you live in, but medical cannabis has a role in chronic pain, much safer than alcohol.
