A responsibility they appear to have abdicated in several jurisdictions.
I wonder if a suit can proceed on the grounds that the local police failed to do anything to protect society at large or keep the general peace.

ReplyDeleteThen there are the lawsuits directed at mayors, city council members and other politicians who told the cops to violate local and state laws in order to protect the rioters.
Wish I knew a good lawyer I could talk to about these issues.
