The "Defund the Police" nonsense seems to be motivated by the financial LCS (lying, cheating, stealing) that goes with it. The cities that are doing it end up passing their law enforcement costs on to their counties and their states.
It's an underhanded, lying, greedy way of making other people pay for their incompetence.
This bill looks like an excellent way of addressing the problems.
Except that, per Trump's Executive Orders, no city, county, state that defunds their law enforcement and tries to shove it onto someone else's shoulders will receive federal monies.
This whole thing is getting to be a real interesting shite-show to watch from a distance.
not me. cops, being cops, will abuse these new rules and use them against us regular citizens. and i say that as a former cop, not a hater. for instance, article 1a. who defines violent? the leftists consider it violent that trump people even exist, much less march. i can see how crossing the street could be a violation of 1b, and so on. too open to abuse. rico has been abused since day 2. just as civil forfeiture laws have.

Do not go off on a tangent, stay with the topic of the post. If I can't tell what your point is in the first couple of sentences I'm flushing it.

Only thing that would make it better would be a $5,000.00 per head bounty.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise I agree with you and the Great Governor DeSantis.
Damn. He's looking to be a great candidate for President come 2024.

ReplyDeleteI'm getting sick of that argument.
DeleteIt boils down to "let's do nothing about this because the laws can be abused."
Which distills to "let's have no government because government abuses the laws."
