That's freaking amazing! I thought you meant they rolled under something like a cabinet and disappeared, then suddenly reappeared. Like how you can drop something and it time travels forward, and suddenly you find it in a place you know you've looked for it before. You've caught up with in the time stream.
You will be the "Great Diviner", you will be walking around with a forked stick locating the elusive 10MM sockets. You can start a sideline like those palm readers or psychic readers. Will keep you in parts for the "Precious";)
It's logical that something lost by dropping it in the recesses of a car will eventually fall out and be found, unlike socks in a dryer which apparently leave this dimension entirely. My truck currently has two sockets in it, an 8mm somewhere in the vicinity of an engine mount, and a broken 10mm in the ashtray as a memento.

That’s just how upside-down 2020 is.
ReplyDeleteWow, I think the world might be ending because I just found a lost AR 15 takedown pin detent.
ReplyDeleteAm I correct in assuming "found" means you found them on your property and not on the shelf in a store?
ReplyDeleteFound the 3/8 drive 12-point in the street near here. The 6-point 1/4 drive pictured I found in the dirt near the ruins of Marv's old house.
