I recently acquired a 45 Shield with tritium night sights and no manual safety. It is slim, compact, light, and with the 7 round factory mag has the capacity of a full size 1911. I picked up a DeSantis dual mag carrier for a full compliment. The gun rides in a strong-side OWB leather holster. It all carries better than my similar setup for my Ruger SR9c. Recoil (for me anyway) is expected and controllable. It is now my current EDC
