Don't think potassium would help. It's definitely the ribs binding on the sternum. After a while I can stretch it out and get a joint-popping sound from there and I feel instantly better.
I too feel the after effects of extra labor and the length of time it takes to recover. I've gone to gym for past 4 years and notice as time goes by, my weight lifting is done with more effort than before. I time my repetitions, 30 seconds between sets. Remarkable how fast that 30 seconds goes now - I may be in some time warp ...
