All kidding aside, the two bombs were probably the best thing to happen to Japan and the US. Either the actual groundfighting or the other plan, complete starvation of the Japanese people, would have been very bad for both of us.
The picture link comment was mine, and I told the browser to sign it. I don't know if the problem is Firefox or Google, but I did the same thing I did this time. I suspect Firefox, since it didn't change "Google Account" to "FuzzyGeff (Google)" in the popup menu.
