I had a call today with a colleague in Europe who grew up in communist Romania. After bragging about the extra day off, he stated that May Day “is workers day… is to remind you that you are worker, in friendly way”
He followed with… “Is better than old days, back then, they remind you that you are worker more vigorously.”
