I got a flu shot at my local VA clinic on the way down for my last neuro appointment at the VA hospital.
It's interesting that they're open.
I remember when Obama shut down the government in 2013 and having to rearrange appointments.

The VA I used to work at was funded a year ahead. Meaning the 2025 budget was already in stone in 24, so it's 'open' for up to a year after a shutdown. Any admin stuff outside of the VA realm would be on hold until the shutdowns were over, but all within the VA was up and running.
