It's mostly BS that gas prices are going up anyway. More an excuse by the oil companies to profiteer based on paranoia. Reality is nobody but China, North Korea and a few other bad actors has been buying Iranian oil, and the bombing hasn't really done much to disrupt the world production of oil other than some caused by Iran's retaliatory strikes on oil producing arab nations in the region. China having to pay more to buy legit oil from OPEC isn't going to do much to affect world pricing other than it might raise the price of Chinese made manufactured goods a little. The other oil producing countries including the US and Canada have plenty of production capacity to make losing any from Iran even in the short term largely a non-issue. -swj
