FOP is constantly on the wrong side of freedom and liberty in Florida and this scare tactic is bullshit since funding for fire, law enforcement and schools is guaranteed.
In other words, Jeff is lying through his teeth and he knows it.

I remember FOP and their position on conceal carry, open carry, campus carry, 18-21 year olds carrying, waiting periods, bump stocks, and anything NFA.
So, pardon me, if I just vote for my self interests and tell the help they can suck it up or find productive employment.
The county fire dept favored a bond measure. Their campaign included warning of increased response times to 911 calls.
ReplyDeleteEven the county library warned of likely increased times of book transfers between branch libraries if yet another bond was not passed. They also warned of significant increase of late fees.
Happily, both bonds failed. I mean, this rural county already has three fire dept bonds, five school bonds. Included is a school with only 15 students. Meanwhile, the largest high school auctioned off $3 million of new equipment for pennies for a pool they decided not to build.
None of those scary things occurred.
Every bond should include enhanced audit to expose waste.
