Score For The Boy

The Boy entered a fishing tournament for disabled kids.  Make a Difference does this every year for the kids and they hand out all manner of free goodies.

Stuff like toys and food.

And electronics!

We'd never really paid attention to the stuff that'd been donated because we'd always snagged a stuffed animal or a gift certificate for a family dinner.

This year The Boy won at 29" LCD television.

We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the sponsors for this event, because we're told they do this year in, year out.

THANKS!

If you're looking for a place to throw some charitable contributions you can't go too far wrong supporting them HERE.

PS: There are a whole lot of people who sign up to take advantage of the free swag whose children are not disabled in any way.  Shame on them!  The nice people at Make A Difference don't even try to determine who is and isn't disabled, because generous!

PPS: Donate to Squeaky first!

  1. Hey buddy, congrats to the boy...... ;-)
What a f**ked up world we live in that ppl would enter children with say, ADHD into something like this, these made up ailments just so teachers have it easier, because you know the parents of these children are ADHD or mentality garbage, to enter their kid for free stuff with really no problems......

  2. Not even ADHD. ANWWT (Absolutely Nothing Wrong With Them) kids. Just the parents wanting something for nothing and defiling the intent of the event. I don't blame the children at all since it's their parents who are to blame for cheating.

  3. I don't like the cheaters either, but ADHD _does_ exist. It's kind of like hypomania, a state with which I am familiar from 13 reluctant years of first-hand observation.

And a LCD TV? That's nicer than what I have! Congratulations!

    1. You misread. I am not saying that ADHD isn't real. I am saying that the parents are bringing kids that don't even have that much wrong. The huge problem with ADHD is that "being a little boy" has a lot of superficial symptoms in common. They require radically different approaches to solve.

    2. I beg your pardon; I do know a lot of "conservatives" who believe that because ADHD is often misdiagnosed, it doesn't exist. Those cheating parents need a good kick in the wedding-tackle, I think.

It may well exist, but doctors now are giving drugs out way to much, I believe I have a slight history of ADHD, but I think teachers in schools are pushing it way to much, they want the sheeple to sit quietly while the push out their leftest drivel, and when one student bucks the trend, a note goes home to parents... ...
