Considering I had to look for pictures after not finding them on the front pages of the news sites...
The "devastation" from Hilary is not as devastating as the predictions, uh, predicted.
Flooding is no joke, but it doesn't appear to be near as bad as New Orleans or Pine Island.
So:
Either the destruction isn't as bad as predicted...
OR
They're actively covering how bad it is.
It's sad that I even consider the latter, but they're such frequent liars...
Strike that! I was looking at the news web pages.
But they post their videos to YouTube.
It's bad.
It remains to be seen, "How bad?"
Then the question will become, if the eco-freaks weren't so active, would it have been as bad?
If we extrapolate from the Paradise fire which was attributable to a de facto ban on cutting trees near power lines and prescribed burns to reduce fuel loads then it's likely that there are flood control measures that were kneecapped by eco-fascists.
ReplyDeleteA lot of failures in libtard controlled areas that lead to preventable things like wildfires are directly caused by things as you note such as tree trimming bans, prescribed fire bans, cutting of fire breaks, etc., and also on blockage of flood control construction by eco-morons. The worst flooding is almost always in places run by systematically corrupt traditionally Democratic party controlled governments like New Orleans. Money that is supposed to go to construction and maintenance of flood control gets redirected to other libtard causes, wasted on bribes and contract go to cronies who don't do the work or do it poorly. It is almost as if they intentionally cause or make worse these disasters so they can put the blame on "climate change" in order to try to impose their end goal of a one-world USSR/CCP modeled government that they believe will "save the planet". And they always blame "mean old Republicans" for not giving them enough money. Of course, libtards just don't get it that the type of government that they are working for is in reality the WORST when it comes to real ecology. The Soviets and Chinese have always raped the land and poisoned the water and skies. But the libtards never seem to let facts get in the way of politics.
