Dammit

I have managed my whole life to not desire a damn thing Ach und Kay.

Now PTR has told CT to piss up a rope and moved to SC.

I want a PTR-91 in the worst way now!

<whine>But I'm an FAL fan!</whine>

Weaponsman links to a smoking hot deal on one.  Not smoking enough for the likes of me; but I still wants one.

    I have owned three different variants of the 91, and PTR seems to be the best, besides the real thing.

    Unless you have a HUGE supply of Berdan primed, or Steel-Cased .308/7.62 NATO, FAL is still king. Given the price of .308 you'll want to save it for reloading, or sell it to reloaders.

    G3 rifles with their fluted chambers make the brass un-reloadable, and only good for scrap.

    Also no bolt hold-open....who wants that?

    Good on PTR, but I don't like their rifle.

    Oh, I still hate on the G3 and all its descendants.

    I'd hate owning the PTR-91.

    But I want to support PTR for doing what they are doing.
