Jeans and Hawaiian shirt weather means shoulder holsters!
Packing like a Miami Vice secondary cast member today with the Model 59 hidden in my armpit!
So far, there's no real drama to it.
It's lighter than the 1911 or Gov't model.
It's a little shorter than the M&P 9.
It's between both extremes I've packed at length before. Winning all around!
Plus it's FUN!
I am so tired of everything about guns being so dour and serious all the time.
Once it hits jeans weather the pistols go OWB and open carried unless the jacket happens to cover. Summer it is the P3AT in shorts pocket.
ReplyDeleteSadly, Florida is one of the five states where open carry is prohibited.
DeleteYeah, too many panty wetting FUDs I guess. Bizzare that Iowa allows OC and Florida does not. We even got it here in TX as well as constitutional carry finally. Despite the RINOs, FUDs and pinkos (Democrats) we have in our legislature that kept it from happening for so long.
DeleteI think it's primarily because we have so many former New Fucking (SPIT) Yorkers living here and infesting the legislature as RINOs.
DeleteNew York being another of the five states which disallows open carry...
We were repeatedly assured that there would be daily gunfights and blood flowing in the streets and bodies stacking up on street corners like firewood when they allowed OC here. And again when constitutional carry passed... Oh and years ago when concealed carry was allowed... and when permitless carry in vehicles was allowed... Funny how it has never happened.
DeleteLack of Open Carry or Constitutional Carry, as Angus said, is due to too many South New York arseholes. Mostly located, conveniently, in Broward County, where all the best RINOs come from. The bastards.
DeleteIt's not just New Yorkers who're entirely too comfortable with the status quo.
DeleteOther nominally pro-gun people hate open carry with a passion where it's banned, yet are oddly sanguine about it when they move where it's allowed...
