The mirror mount makes the radar detector vibrate in the corner of my eye and the misophonia picks it up.
The mass of the shaking detector also shakes the mirror.
I think I'll fall back a couple yards and punt.

Is it feasible to add weight or vibration damping material to tune out the vibration?
ReplyDeleteMaybe, but the root of the problem is two tires got slightly out of round when the suspension was all out of whack. New tires will probably cure the problem.
DeleteI'm not entirely happy with where it ends up anyways, the vibration just rammed it home.
But having something to tinker with is the core of hot-rodding, even if it's finding a solid mount for a radar detector.
