    I'm going to be kind to Bubba the gunsmite and say that this was either a parts kit or already sporterized.

    The auction on GunBroker has a starting price of just under $5k and I believe it's in .338'06 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Oh it's also in Alaska.
