Replaced the kitchen faucet at the in-law's.
Much harder than it needed to be because of the multiple jury rigs to get from a 5/8" OD (1/2 nominal) stub in the wall to a 1/2" MIP at the faucet.
Only the cold side had a shut off.
Ace came through where Home Depot did not. Again.
They've every variation of shut-off you can think of, but the most common 90° 5/8 compression to 3/8 compression...
3/8 compression to 1/2 FIP is the most common braided hook-up for a sink too.
Ugh!
Being a slum lord is taxing.
