I am watching a series of videos on the restoration of a Ferrari 512 BBi.
He's exclaimed a couple of times that they don't make a component any more.
He's recently gushed about a type of hose clamp where the worm screw is a separate part from the band and one end of the band has a T on it.
Yeah, there's a reason they're not made any more.
Chuck the NCRS um Ferrari concourse points and get a less failure prone clamp on there. Especially since you're Hell bent on reusing the take-off clamps. Yes, blasting and replating them has them looking spiffy, but that doesn't mean they're not waiting to fail on you.
