Probably Iowa Route 92.
Though, Bob Seger said it was in Dubuque, that's on US20.

Or I-80. But definitely in Iowa. Five of my many children live in Omaha.
ReplyDeleteExcept even in Iowa I80 has enough traffic that it probably wouldn't be described as "lonesome". However, certainly a lot of people traveling it would understand that IOWA is an acronym... for "I Oughta Went Around". Because pretty much there isn't much there but hog lots and corn fields along I80.
