I am nearly in this picture! I took a picture of the picture in my copy of Tankograd American Special No. 3044 "REFORGER 88: Certain Challenge."
That's my tank on the right edge of this photo. I was standing on the turret watching 1/4 Cav pass through during REFORGER '88.
The photographer took pictures of me standing there, but I didn't make the book...

Reminds me of an ATD in Twentynine Palms, California during the 1980's buff up with Iran. Was chatting with a tanker standing on his tank, "Cookie" might have been his name, when he invited me up for a pinch of Copenhagen. Fermented in bourbon. He said, be sure to get a good pinch. And I did and within two seconds my feet lost contact with the tank, and I was a bundle in the sand. TREMENDOUS head rush, that.
