Looks complex to fix in the field. Didn't the Soviets have trouble with their autoloaders?

DeleteThe Russians got it figured out. So did the French.
The TTB autoloader was tested HARD. I think it would/will work well. It was actually rejected by the Army putting an arbitrary maximum number of moving parts on any autoloader.
I don't recall anything past crew level maintenance being simple in the field. Those guys in the 88 deserved medals for keeping us running!
