CCW Real Gun

Two years running it hasn't really gotten cool enough to wear enough to carry a "real" gun here in Suncoast Florida.

I have not tested the idea of semi-concealed carry and have seen a lot of "no open carry" signs.

So the Shield Plus has been in my pocket and the M&P 9 Compact has stayed in the safe.

  1. I carry a NAA 22Mag in its holster in my front pocket in warm weather. I have the 10mm in the shoulder holster queued for Monday morning.

    1. I have one a NAA Pug in .22 Mag (and also a .22 LR cylinder which I don't normally use) that I carry when I am in exceptionally light clothing like shorts.

  2. My normal carry is a P80 Pf9SSS which is a Glock 43 compatible. If I'm wearing a heavy jacket I oftten carry something else, like a P90 Pf940v2. That's normally in addition to the Pf9SS.

    1. Pocket carry of the Shield Plus is my always gun. When it's cool enough to wear the shoulder holster, I grab the M&P 2.0 9 Compact.

    2. I'm not really that familiar with the newer Smith & Wesson models. The P80 Pf940v2 is a full size Glock 17 compatible that can be built for 9x19, .40 S&W or .357 Sig. I have slides/barrels for all three of those but I carry the 9mm version most often, mostly because at least ammo is compatible with the Pf9SS even if the magazines obviously aren't, one being single and the other double stack.
