Among the many reasons I like the new Battlestar Galactica is they did their homework on the dialog.
This is from Season 3, episode 17.
"Galatica, Stabuck, Showtime, Bogie, my right 1, in the soup at 45, committing."
"Starbuck, Hot Dog, no joy, press!"
If
you don't already understand the jargon, you don't get it explained for
you. And it's good because the characters would not explain it either.
