Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm

Nothing is better than a fine smoke, a single malt and a modern revolver chambered for an obsolete round.

Even if I did put ice in my scotch...

  1. Pardon the Ruger wheel gun guy, but isn't the Anaconda a .44? How could that be obsolete!? On another note, feel free to put whatever you want in your hootch. You and I both fought for that right! But these might help keep your scotch cold and not dilute it: http://www.surlatable.com/product/id/227698.do?affsrcid=Aff0001&mr:trackingCode=334E8D3D-AAC1-DF11-98FF-0019B9C043EB&mr:referralID=NA

Though I always liked the scotch getting a little weak and watery as i got a little weak and watery! Ha ha!

  2. Most Anacondas are, indeed, .44 Magnum. Colt made a .45 Colt version as well.

I completely agree with letting the scotch get a little weak and watery. At least with ice you can say you were chilling it. A lot depends on what I am drinking for. For enjoyment, I want it cold and diluted and I sip. To get drunk, straight in shots fast. Getting drunk like that is a waste of fine scotch since you don't really get a chance to taste or savor it.

  3. I noticed the Fuentes in your pic as well. Tried a nice Nat SHerman Banker maduro with a bourbon? 66 ring x 5" long, a really fat Robusto, cool smoking and great with a Maker's Mark, Knob Creek, etc.

.45 LC and .45 ACP are not and will never be obsolete! Those are the rounds that both made and saved our nation!
