A cartuber I occasionally watch has flown his own plane down to Jamaica with relief stuff and he's saying the West end of the island is just gone.
He's confused that it's not in the news here at all.
So am I.
Especially after all the coverage that Haiti gets whenever their unprepared asses get nailed with even a small storm.
Because -
ReplyDelete1- There's elections going on
2- TRUMP!!!!!!
3- ICE raids and the misinformation going on rallying illegal supporters to 'fight' them.
4- Are they Democrat supporters?
5- Haiti............. The
Sh1t, there it is!
DeleteI fumblefingered the keyboard and the comment disappeared.
I was going to say-
Haiti................. The Clinton Coalition is going to reopen it's "Send us Billions to build three houses in Haiti" scam again.
The stories I'm hearing make it sound like the damage is so widespread and severe that the government itself may not be able to get word out. Like no reliable radio, power, or anything on the island. There are going to be insane numbers once reliable counts of missing persons start coming out. I subscribe to Glenn Beck's network and he has had a couple of different charities on; one he finances (Mercury 1) and another I can't think of right now. Both have started exploring there and are horrified by what they're seeing.
ReplyDeleteBecause catastrophies like this show how charitable Americans are. Simply cannot allow coverage of that.
ReplyDeleteMore sinister (yes, that is correct term) is disaster relief is not readily controlled and manipulated by media. Ergo, full suppression. Especially with that pesky Christian org Samaritan's Purse lurking about.
When media finally does gain control of the narrative, they then will report on the disaster.
It's like clockwork.
Even when the disaster is too large to suppress (Katrina, western NC) the media will tightly control the what and when.
As the saying goes, you don't hate the media enough. 'if it bleeds, it leads' is inaccurate. People actually suffering and dying is not the metric. How to control and manipulate the narrative is the point.
