Facepalm

Suspect steals 1918 Rugar...

Is this another example of the rigorous and multi-tiered fact checking that us mere bloggers cannot possibly summon when we report on the goings on around us?

First, it's spelled Ruger.

Second they don't make a model 1918.

Third, they were founded in 1949.

    A 1918 Luger makes more sense. That's something that the multiple layers of fact checking should catch, don't you think?
