Even pizza that's actually good!
I have three excellent local places that knock the big chains socks off, but they don't deliver and their closed by 10. The food delivery apps list all those places if I'm really too lazy to go get it myself.
Oh, and they're a lot cheaper than the chains too.
Better, cheaper, sign me up. Even having uber eats bring the cheaper pie is cheaper than Dominoes. And Dominoes charges me a fee to do pick up now too.
Never mind the increasing number of policies that make me look to the locals.
Like Dominoes won't take a delivery order over $20 if I'm using cash.
So I'm reading this and thinking, adapt or die motherfuckers.
Now that I logged in again I will say the thing you're going to delete for being anonymous.
ReplyDeleteServes them right, I rarely get delivery but often get takeout. I never use the chains, and had to do Google search to see if we even had a Domino's. I know Pizza Hut exists because it's next to the hardware store, but never go in or call. Heck Safeway take and bake is better than chain store pizza
Yeah, the one thing I miss about IL being the pizza... NO good pizza here in North/West Texas... But not at all sad to see the big chains go down like that. Mind, I have a problem with the delivery thing having been a delivery driver in the past, but understand if "I'll just go get it myself" is not your thing. I find that with the current job chaining me to a desk I really like the excuse to get out now and again... But good luck out there!
