Glad

One nice thing about being into odd calibers is when the panic starts, I can still get ammo.

.38 Super is still being delivered!

Handy that, since I recently changed carry guns to that chambering.

  1. Yep, and since everyone just had to have a 9mm, 45 is still available and reasonable ..........;)

  2. Got lucky at the AF Base Exchange last week and scooped up 4 boxes of .38 Super for my Dad's gat. They literally had just been 'received', and lasted about 20 mins longer. Nothing on the shelves other than some really exotic stuff, though.

The wife is a good talker and scooped 4 black P-Mags for $12 each when the young Airman ran his mouth about putting the entire dozen he had grabbed on E-bay...within earshot of the manager. It turns out there is a 4 magazine limit at the Exchange. Not sure if that was always or just that day, but bravo to that manager!

Angrymike, if you can still get .45, you need to be stockpiling and hoarding it. Here in s. AZ, and everywhere I can find on the intarwebz, there is nothing to be found. If a store receives any it's gone in minutes, even at 2-boxes-to-a-customer, or even 1. No primers, powder, or bullets either.+
