Mundane Tasks

The trap on the sink in the garage bathroom corroded through last night.

Home Depot, to the rescue! Da da da DAH!

Our drains are strange, they are not the cast iron stubs they should be, they are copper and the 1.25" drain tubes slip into them. It's very strange, not how they do it in the midwest at all.

Luckily, Home Depot® has a wide assortment of adaptors and fittings.

In the course of the repair, I discovered that my faucet was not in the best condition either, but that will have to wait until I can shut the house water off, since we don't have shut-offs at the sink.
