GG&G Bipod Adaptor

Really not much to it.  It's a QD sling swivel stud set into a milled aluminum block.

What sets the GG&G version of this apart from several others is that sliding bar on the side opposite the screw head.  This lets you tilt it off instead of sliding it down the rail from the front.  That's handy!

It's cheap affordable.

It's well designed.

It's well made.

It does what it says it will do.

I got mine through Midway USA.

The Harris HBL bipod came from Jacobson's Gun Center in Story City, Iowa back before the Clinton administration.

Since it's Fuzzygeff's bipod it seems appropriate that the first pic of it in use is on his gun.  Perhaps someday he'll be able to keep it where he lives.  (Sorry about the crappy pics.)

The thing I like best about Picatinny rails is the modularity.  The same adaptor can be used on Dottie too.  You just need a couple inches of rail on the bottom and you're golden.  The downside is you need a 9/64" allen wrench to install or remove the adaptor.  Not an issue most of the time.
