Question

During carrier testing of the X-47B, why is the plane guard helo up?

There's no pilot to rescue should something go wrong.

    Rules say plane guard is up during flight ops.

    Also, folks in float coats on the flight deck have been known to be pushed off the flight deck by jet blast and prop wash. :)
